In the latest patch, 10.2 “Guardians of the Dream,” World of Warcraft introduces translucent dream creatures as mounts, obtainable by players through a unique currency called Dream Infusion. This patch offers substantial content, granting access to the Emerald Dream zone, new events, and an array of never-seen-before cosmetics and collectibles.

Players who attain rank 5 with the Renown faction Dream Wardens can access the Dream Infuser, enabling them to acquire green, translucent versions of mounts and pets by utilizing Dream Infusion. However, unlocking these new mounts demands players to first acquire the regular versions, then infuse them with the essence of the Emerald Dream to gain the ethereal replicas.
These dream-inspired mounts like Delugen, Imagiwing, Mammyth, Salatrancer, Stargrazer, and Talont require specific existing mounts to create their translucent counterparts, each reflecting an imaginative twist on nature and dreams. While many of these mounts are available in World of Warcraft, the Dreamstag and Dreamtalon creatures are new additions, anticipated to be exclusive to the update.
“Guardians of the Dream” proves to be a collector’s paradise, offering an extensive array of mounts. The patch not only includes the new Dragonriding mechanic but also introduces two customizable mounts. Additionally, with the dynamic flying system expanding beyond dragons, players will soar on Anu’relos, Flames’ Guidance, the inaugural non-dragon mount in World of Warcraft enabled for dynamic flying. As the Dragonriding feature solidifies its presence, mount enthusiasts will find themselves elated in the forthcoming updates.
