Navigate the Underground Passage in Baldur’s Gate 3 and save the halfling Findal from imminent execution by Goblins.

In the vast world of Baldur’s Gate 3, players encounter numerous challenges and complex scenarios. One such encounter involves a dire situation in the Underground Passage, where Goblins are about to execute the halfling Findal. Saving Findal might seem straightforward, but the game adds twists, leaving players puzzled even after the battle ends.
Steps to Save Findal in Baldur’s Gate 3:

- Swift Goblin Elimination: Act swiftly to defeat the Goblins as soon as players enter the Underground Passage. Prioritize disabling the Guardian Statues to prevent instant defeat.
- Healing Spell Intervention: After clearing the Goblins, approach Findal, who is barely clinging to life at 1 HP. Traditional interactions yield no response. To save him, cast any healing spell on Findal, regardless of its potency. Changing to a party member equipped with a healing spell is crucial.
This seemingly complex situation boils down to quick action and the application of a healing spell. Once Findal receives any healing, he will be able to safely return to Druid Grove. Players can employ a Stealth approach to pickpocket him during the encounter.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is currently available in Early Access on PC, and the PlayStation 5 version was released on September 6th, 2023. An Xbox Series X/S version is still under development.
