New York Comic-Con attendees were in for a treat as NetherRealm and WB Games dropped a bombshell with the release of an exciting new trailer for Mortal Kombat 1 featuring the iconic character Omni-Man from the popular series Invincible.

Omni-Man, also known as Nolan Grayson and voiced by the talented actor J. K. Simmons, is a pivotal character in the Invincible universe. He’s the father of the titular hero and a member of the formidable alien Viltrumite race. Fans of comics may recognize him from his appearances in Supreme, Invincible, Noble Causes, and Dynamo 5.
Omni-Man, the first playable character in Mortal Kombat 1’s upcoming Kombat Pack, is set to debut next month.
In the brief but action-packed trailer, you can catch a glimpse of Omni-Man in action.
For the fortunate owners of the Premium Edition of the game, the ability to play as Omni-Man is a tantalizing prospect. The Premium Edition also comes bundled with a host of extras. Including five additional playable characters, five new Kameo characters, early access to upcoming DLC characters. A Jean-Claude Van Damme skin for Johnny Cage, and a generous stash of 1,250 Dragon Krystals, the in-game currency. To get your hands on this premium edition, head over to the official website. Alternatively, for those who prefer a more a la carte approach, all playable characters and Kameo Fighters are available for standalone purchase.
