Phantom Liberty immerses players in an action-packed, spy-thriller narrative that introduces a complex story, a new district to explore, a dynamic skill tree, fresh gigs and side quests, a host of new weapons and items, and an array of infinitely replayable open-world activities.

Gabe Amatangelo, the Game Director, shared the dedication that went into creating this expansion, emphasizing that it represents their unwavering passion for game development. In Phantom Liberty, players will resume the role of V, a cyberpunk mercenary, who is thrust into the clandestine world of espionage. Along the way, they will encounter a new cast of intriguing characters, from veteran secret agents to shrewd political maneuverers and ruthless mercenaries. This mission will test V’s mettle with difficult decisions, unexpected twists, and thrilling turns.

The expansion introduces Dogtown, the most perilous district in Night City, ruled by the formidable arms dealer and warlord, Kurt Hansen. Beyond the new gigs and characters, the district offers fresh boss battles, infinitely replayable open-world activities like airdrops and courier missions, and a wealth of undiscovered secrets.

Phantom Liberty enhances the gameplay experience with over 100 new items, encompassing vehicles, weapons, clothing, and cyberware. Players can delve into the innovative Relic skill tree, replete with unique Relic perks, providing even greater freedom and flexibility to customize their playstyle.
