Toei Animation and Sunlight Entertainment have jointly announced an exciting new “edutainment” series titled ELEMON, featuring the voice talent of Ryan Kaji, the young YouTube sensation known for “Ryan’s World.” The series’ first episode is available for viewing below.
Sunlight Entertainment, the production studio owned by the Kaji family of the “Ryan’s World” YouTube channel, provides a captivating description of the series:
“ELEMON” transports viewers to the futuristic city of New Olympia Polis, where an incredible scientific breakthrough has occurred – the creation of Elemon, fantastical beings crafted from chemical elements. Within this bustling metropolis resides Leo Woods, a brilliant ten-year-old inventor with aspirations of becoming an Elemon creator, inspired by his hero, Professor World. One fateful morning, Leo’s dream becomes a reality, and he embarks on the journey to craft an entirely new team of Elemon! However, this newfound power also attracts peril, as a shadowy group called Team Ninja is determined to capture Leo’s Elemon, seeking to harness his technology for their own dubious ends.
Throughout the series, Leo, Ela, and Ryan form profound bonds with their Elemon, gain insights into chemistry, and engage in clashes with Team Ninja! Each 11-minute episode combines humor, heart-pounding action, and genuine drama. “ELEMON” is a family-friendly adventure that stimulates both the intellect and emotions, imparting fundamental chemistry knowledge to children while immersing them in a thrilling, anime-like fantasy epic.
New episodes will be available weekly on the ELEMON YouTube channel, and a live-streamed viewing event is scheduled for October 1 to mark the show’s debut. Furthermore, a 20-minute special will be accessible for free on The Roku Channel Kids & Family streaming service on the same day.
