Dune: Spice Wars is an action-packed 4X title with elements of strategy games that transports players to a desert planet where they battle opponent factions to control the Arrakis planet. As the game advances, players can participate in the region’s politics, acquire valuable materials, and take over villages.

Army can be recruited in Dune: Spice Wars from the ‘Military’ interface in the drop-down menu on the right side of the screen. It is the last tab that can be found under the ‘Ornithopters’ tab. Players will see the ‘+’ icon under the ‘Military’ heading. A simple click on this icon is all that’s required to recruit army units in Dune: Spice Wars. Training these soldiers can take a minute or two, so wait patiently until they are ready to fight.

How to Attack a Village in Dune: Spice Wars

Once players have recruited army units, they can attack the nearby villages to take control of the planet. For this purpose, gamers will have to select a unit by left-clicking on it and then right-click the village they want to take over.

Every village in Dune: Spice Wars is protected by its native soldiers, and players will have to beat them in order to take over the village. It would be a good idea to check the opponent militia’s resources before attacking them to better prepare for the attack. For that, players can select the village and click the ‘target’ and ‘crossed swords’ icons under the ‘Militia’ tab.

Moreover, players can also send a unit to investigate a region in Dune: Spice Wars. It is important to note that the army units lose supply outside of the friendly territory, and when they do, their health starts depleting. In that case, players should immediately provide the supply or command them to return to the Arrakeen base camp, or else the unit will die. The supply is represented by the orange bar below their health bar, or players can also select a unit to check its exact number.

So, as you venture through the unforgiving sands of Arrakis in Dune: Spice Wars, remember that recruiting and deploying your army strategically is key to success in this challenging 4X strategy game. Mastering these aspects of the game will bring you one step closer to dominating the desert planet and achieving victory in the battle for control.
