For those who are unaware, remote raids were added to Pokémon Go during the pandemic to let players to enjoy the game from the comfort of their own homes. Niantic introduced Remote Raid passes rather than entirely eliminating Remote Raids after the outbreak subsided. The five remote raids per day cap imposed by these passes wasn’t well accepted by players, and Ninatic came under fire for it. The developer has said that this much wanted feature would debut at Pokemon Go Fest in response to player requests.
