Slavic Magic and Hooded Horse have officially announced the much-anticipated release date of their medieval strategy game, Manor Lords, which is set to launch on April 26, 2024.
Manor Lords offers players an immersive experience, combining intricate city building, epic tactical battles, and complex economic and social simulations. Players will be tasked with nurturing their humble village into a flourishing city, strategically managing resources and production chains, and expanding their territories through conquest.
The game draws inspiration from the art and architecture of late 14th century Franconia, emphasizing historical accuracy over clichéd medieval themes. This emphasis on authenticity imbues the title with vibrancy and credibility, enriching the player’s experience.
Within Manor Lords’ expansive map, a diverse range of resources awaits, incentivizing players to establish multiple specialized settlements. While resource extraction and agricultural development yield significant advantages, uncontrolled expansion takes a toll on the environment, emphasizing the delicate balance between growth and sustainability.
However, it is crucial to bear in mind that conflicts are inevitable as players contend with neighboring lords for dominance. Leading loyal subjects into battle carries a weighty consequence, as each loss can potentially disrupt the economy or trigger food shortages, underscoring the interconnectedness of various game elements.
The game is scheduled to be released for PC platforms via Steam, GOG, and PC Game Pass, with a console release date slated for the future.
